Flippable's founder, Sally Walkom, spent over 20 years working on property and infrastructure development deals, sales and acquisitions. This included commercial property deals with some of Australia's biggest companies. She also spent several years helping startups realise their dream to use technology to solve painpoints for customers.
The idea for Flippable emerged when Sally started working on her own residential property development project. She could see a number of problems with the current process: homeowners getting a raw deal, inefficiencies and old-fashioned processes. She realised she could apply her property and infrastructure expertise, and her knowledge of technology and innovation to make a fairer system for homeowners.
